Our Other Children...

Tyson and Sage are our furry kids - we are estimating Tyson to be about 8 years old, although we are unsure. We are his third owners. Sage is 3 years old. They love to wrestle and fight but are VERY protective of "their babies." Aspyn just learned to say "Tyson" but still struggles a bit with "Sage." Jasmyn just does her "Pee Wee Herman fake laugh that she picked up from somewhere...probably the same place Aspyn picked up her "Damien"voice that would make the perfect voice-over for a horror show...DDDDDAAAAAADDDDDYYYYY!!!!

Scrub a dub dub...

The babies love bathtime, especially the splashing part. By the time we are done, everyone has had a bath!

A Ride in the Wagon

Jasmyn and Aspyn love to ride in the wagon or the 8 seat stroller at the daycare with their friends Sam, Trinity and Laney.

Power Napping

While Jasmyn sleeps, Aspyn power naps for about 20 minutes at a time. Then she's back to crawling again. She took her first steps on June 8 at Grandma's house, while I was downstairs trying to set up this blog...wouldn't you know it?

How?

Jazzy learned to crawl the second week of June. She gets herself into the strangest places but thinks she is really "big" because she can get herself where she wants to go. Aspyn started crawling first, around the second week of May. Prior to that, Jazz was content to just lay around. Once her sister started moving, Jasmyn decided she better move or get left in sister's wake (not a good place to be sometimes).

First Trip to Hogle Zoo

I don't know who had more fun, the babies or the adults. Grandpa fed them sno-cones and cotton candy until they were bouncing off the walls. Aspyn loved the penguins and Jasmyn loved the giraffes. We bought them (more) stuffed animals to remember the occasion.

1st BIRTHDAY!

The girls turned "1" on April 24, 2008. They had a birthday party
and got a four wheeler, kitchen, swing, music table, stuffed
animals, clothes, so on and so on. They're not spoiled...

Hard to Believe...

It's hard for me to believe how small these babies were - Jasmyn at 4lb 1 oz and Aspyn at just 3lb 11 oz. I kept telling myself they looked so healthy...they are doing great now and you would never know they were preemies...
